ISHPEMING— Officers and members of the advisory board of the Western Fruit Jobbers association will hold their regular spring meeting this weekend at Sam M. Cohodas’ new lodge on Lake Michigamme, about two miles west of Champion.
It will be the first time in the 32 years the association has been in existence that an advisory board meeting has been held outside of Chicago.
Important mattes will come up for consideration at the meeting, including a decision whether the code for the fruit and vegetable industry will be continued. Plans will be made for the association’s 1936 meeting in Kansas City, MO., and bills pending in Washington pertaining to the fruit and vegetable industry will be discussed.
